The Hydra-Cut product was developed through extensive consultations with various utility sectors that required a solution for installing hydrants under pressure.
With the introduction of Hydra-Cut, live hydrants can now be installed without:
a) Interrupting the water supply to customers
b) The need for customer notifications or isolation
c) The necessity of a horizontally installed FL/FL valve, as is
common with standard hot tapping clamps
d) Disrupting supply during hydrant replacement when needed
